Day 01 :

Arrival & Journey to Sinharaja Rainforest

Arrive at CMB and transfer directly to an eco-lodge near the Sinharaja Forest Reserve (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Spend the afternoon settling in and enjoying the tranquility of the rainforest edge.

Day 02 :

Sinharaja Rainforest Trek

Start the day with an early morning guided trek into the Sinharaja Rainforest. This is a biodiversity hotspot, home to many endemic birds and tree species. Focus on observing the unique 'mixed-species bird flocks' and endemic flora.

Day 03 :

Hill Country Transfer & Tea Trails

Drive from the rainforest to the central highlands (e.g., Ella or Haputale). Stop at a viewpoint to admire the landscape. Check into your accommodation, which may be a charming heritage bungalow or a hotel overlooking the Ella Gap.

Day 04 :

Ella Exploration & Little Adam's Peak

Morning hike up Little Adam’s Peak for stunning views. Walk across the iconic Nine Arch Bridge. In the afternoon, visit a local tea factory for a comprehensive tour and tasting.

Day 05 :

Safari Adventure (Udawalawa)

Journey down from the hills to Udawalawa National Park. Embark on an afternoon 4x4 jeep safari, internationally renowned as one of the best places to see large herds of elephants. Spend the night at a tented camp or nearby lodge.

Day 06 :

Leopard Tracking Safari (Yala)

Drive to the area near Yala National Park. Check into your lodge. Take an intense late afternoon safari focused on tracking leopards, sloth bears, and other predators.

Day 07 :

Coastal Heritage & Galle Fort

Enjoy a final morning in the wilderness before driving to the southern coast near Galle. In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour of the historic Galle Fort (UNESCO site), focusing on its Dutch and Portuguese colonial architecture and history.

Day 08 :

Madu Ganga River Safari & Beach

Departure

Enjoy a final breakfast. Transfer back to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for your departure.
